For those of you that are aware of the rich traditions that comes with Skopje, Macedonia, then you should be informed of the amazing band, Eye Cue. During the bands seven year history they have performed to over a half a million people as a main-stage act. The most notable of those festivals being the massive “Taksirat”.
The rock/pop/fusion/trance band that consist of Bojan Trajkovski and Marija Ivanovska are schedule to release their much anticipated European release “We Are Having Fun” on February 14th, 2018 via Crownn Records/Pivatell Distribution. To promote the release of the record the band will be undertaking a lengthy European tour throughout the month of February and March. The album and tour will be highlighted by the hit single “Million Times”.
Surprisingly the band has more catalog of music, videos and live shows than the average, wannabe western society, bands out there but has never crossed the border with their shows. The latter isn’t an excuse because of the lack of opportunity or interest but rather a choice based on the mastermind Bojan idea of the right time.
“The thing of it is, we noticed all of the bands in America and on the continent of Europe were rushing to release their music online. We didn’t believe in that. That isn’t to take away from some of the new main stream bands, but we wanted to corner our market first. Besides putting anything online is easy. I also studied the market and just concentrated on the sound that was in our hearts and when the right opportunity came along we took it. We are excited to finally tour outside of the Balkan region while promoting our music.”- Bojan
Its seems as though the real bands that have a live unit to perform their songs are out there. The likes, the followers and self propelled tags that so many are begging to have via the social media platforms to capture art these days are exposing themselves. Getting in the van or bus to play a show in any language and/or from any region can arguably be what music is about.
EyeCue are a band that has not used the excuse of being from a region that is seldom overlooked for talent. The end result is the talent within EyeCue that the public has enjoyed during the 300 plus shows thus far. Keep your eye out for this band.
