Director Bill Slovick, film Below A Darkwood, displays the mirrored experiences we all faces when someone leaves within an uncertainty of no return. The memories that are left behind are just as painful as saying goodbye, but eventually we all have to. The cinematography in the film shows a return of what the industry use to consider as “Fantastic B Rated/ Independent Film” .

Synopsis: A missing woman. A troubled man. A dark wood full of mystery. What moves among the trees? What secrets lie buried? And what comes creeping in the dead of night?

Bill Slovick is an international award-winning director, producer, sound designer, and editor, and an award-nominated cinematographer and scorer. He lives in Ballston Lake, New York with his wife June, where he is a full-time daddy to their 3-year-old son. His most recent project was editing the comedy feature film “Melt On This” in 2020, accomplished during naptimes, evenings, and weekends, soon to be available on Amazon Prime.
Bill’s first film “Below A Dark Wood” has been recognized by 108 film festivals and competitions across all 6 continents and won 19 awards as a 62-time nominee/finalist. His film has screened to live audiences in over 10 different countries and across all regions of the USA.
